István Zupkó

Dr. István Zupkó graduated as a pharmacist in 1992 at the University of Szeged. Since then, he has worked at the Institute of Pharmacodynamics and Biopharmacy, University of Szeged, Szeged, Hungary. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1995, habilitation in 2007, and D.Sc. in 2018. He is especially interested in investigating antiproliferative and antimetastatic effects of plant extracts, active natural constituents, and their synthetic analogs. In 2000 he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Pharmaceutical Biology and Phytopharmacology, Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. He published 223 papers in international journals, and his H-index is 37.
